# Meshdiff

> Meshdiff is a web-based review and versioning platform for 3D models. It computes a structured, geometry-based diff between two STL, 3MF, or OBJ files (volume change, bounding-box delta, hole and wall-thickness changes, overhang risk) and renders it as a side-by-side 3D viewer with color-coded added/removed regions, an SDF deviation heatmap, and an auto-generated plain-language summary. It is not a CAD editor; it sits above CAD/slicer output as a comparison, review, and traceability layer for hardware teams.
